Shiʿa kalima within a circle, ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / ʿAlī walī Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. ʿAli is the friend of Allah’ in Arabic); at the sides, ‘bism – [Allāh] - al-ʿaẓīm’ (‘In the name of Allah, the Great’ in Arabic); in the margin, asking blessings for Muḥammad and the twelve Shiʿa imams, ‘[Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammad] wa ʿAlī wa al-Ḥasan wa al-Ḥusayn wa ʿAlī wa Muḥammad wa Jaʿfar wa Mūsā [wa ʿAlī wa Muḥammad wa ʿAlī wa al-Ḥasan wa Muḥammad]’ (‘O Allah!
