Within a single border of dots, draped bust of Kawad I to right, wearing an elaborate mural crown with a frontal crescent surmounted by a korymbos in crescent; a star behind head; a crescent and ribbon on each shoulder; before head, ‘kwʾt’ = ‘Kawād’ (in Pahlavi).
Reverse
Within a single border of dots, fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants; above altar, star and crescent; to left, ‘kwʾt’ = ‘Kawād’ (in Pahlavi); to right, ‘LD’ (‘Ray’ in Pahlavi).
