Shiʿa kalima, in the margin: ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh Muḥammad rasūl Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); in the central circle, ‘ʿAlī walī Allāh’ (‘ʿAli is the friend of Allah’ in Arabic).

In the margin, ‘bande-ye shāh-e velāyat ʿAbbās zar-’, continued in the central circle, ‘-be Ḥuwayza’ (‘The servant of the King of Guardianship, ʿAbbas. Struck in Huwayza’ in Persian). Note: The King of Guardianship refers to ʿAli, the first Shiʿa imam.
