Citing himself as ‘the Victorious’ and Ilek within a circle, ‘al-manṣūr / lā ilāha illā / Allāh waḥdahū / lā sharīka lahū / Īlik’ (‘The Victorious. There is no deity but Allah, the One, there is no partner to Him. Ilek’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-fals bi Ūzkand sana iḥdā ʿashar wa arbaʿa miʾa’ (‘In the name of Allah. This fals was struck in Uzgen in the year 411’ in Arabic).

Citing his brother and overlord Arslan Khan within a circle, ‘li-llāh / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / Arslān Khān’ (‘For Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Arslan Khan’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘mimmā amara bihī al-amīr Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī mawlā amīr al-muʾminīn’ (‘From that ordered by Amir Muhammad son of ʿAli, vassal of the Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic).
