Within a central dotted circle, ‘Khān’ (‘Khan’ in Arabic); around, in the form of a triangle, ‘lā ilāha illā – Allāh waḥdahū – lā sharīka lahū’ (‘There is no deity but Allah, the One, there is no partner to Him’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-fals bi Farghāna sana thamān’ (‘In the name of Allah. This fals was struck in Farghana (Fergana) in the year [38]8’ in Arabic).

Within a dotted circle, ‘li-llāh / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / Tikīn / al-jalīl’ (‘For Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
