Within a pointed octofoil, ‘lā ilāha illā / Allāh Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); around, ‘ṣalla - Allāh - ʿalayhi - Tabrīz’ (‘May Allah bless him. Tabriz’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘tabārak / alladhī / bi-yadihī / al-mulk / wa huwa / [ʿalā / kulli shayʾin / qadīr]’ (‘Blessed is He in Whose hand is the kingdom, and He is Powerful over all things’ in Arabic; Qurʾān 67: 1).
