Obverse
Within a pointed pentafoil, ‘Allāh / lā ilāha illā / ḍarb Kumushbāzār / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Struck in Gumushbazar’ in Arabic); to right and left, ‘[ṣalla] – ʿalayh’ (‘May [Allah] bless him’ in Arabic); marginal legend mostly off flan.
Reverse
Within a circle, in the center, ‘Ghāzān Maḥmūd’ (‘Ghazan Mahmud’ in Arabic); above and below, ‘tegriin / kucundur – gasanu / deledkeguluk / sen’ (‘Under the power of heaven, struck by Ghazan’ in Uighur script); to the left, three letters in Mongol Phags-pa script, almost totally effaced, ‘[ma kha za]’.
