Citing the deceased ʿAbbasid caliph al-Nasir li-din Allah (AH 575-622 / AD 1180-1225) within a circle, ‘lā ilāha illā / Allāh Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh a/l-Nāṣir li-dīn / Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. al-Nasir li-din Allah’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘ḍuriba hādhihī al-darāhim bi baldat Utrār sana ithnayn …’ (‘These dirhams were struck in the town of Otrar in the year [66]2’ in Arabic).

Within a circle, ‘Khānī / al-imām al-a/ʿẓam al-Nā/ṣir li-dīn Allāh’ (‘Khan’s [coin]. The supreme imam al-Nasir li-din Allah’ in Arabic); marginal legend effaced.
