Within a bold quatrefoil countermark, ‘ʿadl sulṭān Rustam Urdū 899’ (‘Justice. Sultan Rustam. Urdu 899’ in Arabic); legends on the host coin are largely obliterated.
Reverse
Within a central enclosure, ‘faman yaʿmal mithqāla dharratin khayran yarahū’ (‘Then, whoever has done good an atom’s weight will see it’ in Arabic; Qurʾān 99.7); in the margin, ‘lā ilāha illā - Allāh Muḥammad – [rasūl Allāh] - …’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. …’ in Arabic), mostly off flan.
