Shiʿa kalima within a circle, ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh Muḥammad rasūl Allāh ʿAlī walī Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. ʿAli is the friend of Allah’ in Arabic).
Reverse
Citing ʿAdil Shah by his name ʿAli within a circle, ‘gasht rāyej be hokm-e lamyazlī, sekke-ye saltanat be nām-e ʿAlī. Zarb-e Harāt, 1160’ (‘By the order of the Eternal One, the coin of the Sultanate became current in the name of ʿAli. Struck in Harat, 1160’ in Persian).
